Temporary Receptionist

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Do you need to gain office experience to further your career?  Our clients are looking for temporary receptionists with at least 1 year of experience.  These flexible assignments will help you mature your experience while giving you insight into various industries.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering & directing calls in a professional manner (various systems & call volumes)
  • Greeting & welcoming visitors & clients
  • Managing & maintaining a presentable reception area
  • Administrative duties such as supplies management, correspondence, machine vendor maintenance, new employee phone & system set up, boardroom scheduling &   maintenance, & ordering luncheons
  • Clerical duties such as faxing, photocopying, mail, couriers, & creating labels
  • Recording & inputting meeting minutes
  • Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and behaviors:

  • Preference will be given to candidates with access to a reliable vehicle
  • At least 1 year of experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • Friendly, outgoing, & professional personality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Pleasant phone manner
  • Professional appearance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Punctual & reliable
  • Can-do attitude
  • Ability to effectively manage workflow pressures
