Temporary Receptionist for NE Calgary

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Do you need to gain office experience to further your career?  Our clients are looking for temporary receptionists with at least 1 year of experience.  These flexible assignments will help you mature your experience while giving you insight into various industries and have you working while you look for perm.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering & directing calls in a professional manner (various systems & call volumes)
  • Greeting & welcoming visitors & clients
  • Managing & maintaining a presentable reception area
  • Administrative duties such as supplies management, correspondence, machine vendor maintenance, new employee phone & system set up, boardroom scheduling &   maintenance, & ordering luncheons
  • Clerical duties such as faxing, photocopying, mail, couriers, & creating labels
  • Recording & inputting meeting minutes
  • Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and behaviors:

  • MUST have a vehicle
  • At least 1 year of experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • Friendly, outgoing, & professional personality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Pleasant phone manner
  • Professional appearance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Punctual & reliable
  • Can-do attitude
  • Ability to effectively manage workflow pressures
