Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

~ Weekly cash reporting & cash management

~ Posting cash receipts & deposits

~ Reporting collections weekly to management & project teams.

~ Preparing revenue & cost accruals for month end financial reporting

~ General ledger account reconciliations.

~ Preparing monthly financial statements

~ Creating year end working papers

~ Assisting with monthly financial package reporting in the absence of the Controller

~ Supervising the accounting department

~ Coverage in the absence of the Controller


The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and behaviors:

~ Minimum of 10 years of directly related experience.

~ Minimum education would be a high school diploma and/or a proven track record of experience and expertise within this area of responsibility 

~ Post secondary accounting education preferred

~ Strong attention to detail & accuracy

~ Tactful, professional, & friendly communication style

~ Ability to maintain confidentiality & integrity

~ Construction experience would be an asset
