The Logistics Coordinator will support a team to manage the shipping, receiving, loading and unloading for a specified region for both domestic and international shipments.


• Prepare shipping documentation to include packing lists within the specified region

• Provides daily support to segments as required

• Prioritize and resolve warehouse and logistics issues as they occur or report them to their   supervisor

• Prepare, sling and load all tools and equipment for shipping as required and able to identify what resources are needed for shipping the tools and equipment

• Cross train team members in a similar capacity to accomplish common tasksTo be successful in this role, as a Logistics Coordinator, you will have:

• Minimum High School Diploma

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role• Basic working knowledge of MS Office Suite

• Forklift Operation experience; current Alberta certification or willingness to obtain would be considered an asset

• Hazardous and Dangerous Goods Certification or willingness to obtain would be considered an asset

• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal

• Ability to multi-task and operate proactively and effectively in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team under supervision

• Ability to use power tools as needed in a safe manner

• Ability to establish a high level of professional integrity, trust and credibility within the organization

• Able to work in both an inside and outside environment in different types of weather conditions





-         Co-ordinate, assign and review

-         Shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, maintaining inventories.

-         Processing purchasing transactions; co-ordinating production work; dispatching; scheduling; operating

-         Plan, organize, oversee

-         Establish work schedules/procedures, reports/co-ordinate activities, supply-chain work units or departments

-         Train workers, company policies

-         Monitor workers, safety & government regulations

-         Solve problems, improve work methods

-         Inventory management software, Production and Processing, Administration and Management

-         Monitoring, Active Listening, Making Decisions and Solving Problems, Coordination, time management, Speaking

-         Inspect products, assign duties

-         Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment
