Reception/ Admin Assistant

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Our client, a Financial Planning Boutique provides a variety of services to high net worth clients. The working environment offers a close knit, small office with a motivated, energetic team. This position offers an attractive benefit plan as well as the opportunity to learn and grow.

Job responsibilities:

  • Processing trades for client
  • Entering data for new accounts; creating account application form
  • Managing sensitive correspondence & documents
  • Printing & mailing quarterly statements & packages
  • Processing bank deposits
  • Managing client information on client database Goldmine
  • Liaising with clients on the phone and in person
  • Calling fund companies & insurance companies for information on client accounts
  • Coordinating information required for client meetings
  • Helping to organize occasional client functions
  • Back up coverage for main Administrator


  • Minimum 3 years experience in an Administrative setting
  • Banking, securities or investment background is nice to have
  • Intermediate MS Word & Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident, high energy & outgoing personality
  • Polished and professional
  • Punctual & reliable: we realize things happen but consistent lates are a deal breaker
  • Team oriented
  • Quick learner
  • Mature
  • Motivated
  • Experience using Goldmine or Dataphile an asset
