Accounting Assistant

Location: Calgary, AB, Canada
Our client is looking to hire an accounting assistant (Permenant Part-time) with +2-3 years full cycle accounting to start IMMEDIATELY.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • day to day accounting duties : AP / AR
  • General administration
  • Input daily deposit
  • Invoicing
  • Cash flow summary (Excel)
  • receive coded payables - double check for accuracy
  • cheque runs - 2 times per month
  • journal entries
  • tax remittances (GST/HST, PST)
  • help with annual audit (May/June)
  • oversee administration
  • bank reconciliations
  • tracking spreadsheets (working with customer contracts)
Qualifications:
  • +3 years accounting experience
  • AP, AR
  • bookkeeping / full cycle accounting
  • Proficient in Excel (tracking reports, formulas, sort, import / export data)
  • Payroll Experience
  • experience with foreign exchange an asset
